Bill McCarty, RHCE, is Associate Professor of Information Technology at Azusa Pacific University, a contributing editor of "Linux Magazine," and author of "RHCE: Red Hat Certified Engineer Study Guide," He has been a Linux user and advocate since 1994. His Ph.D. in the Management of Information Systems is from Claremont Graduate University.
