I read this book because it makes me realize that marriage is not all about honeymoons and romance. It is about make a commitment to someone who is going to spend the rest of your life with you. I have to be careful about who I hang out with. My mother usually to me about this a lot because she gave me a warning. Some people married the wrong person and /or for the wrong reasons. I like the way Phillip helps couples whose marriages are on the brink of disaster. I think Charlotte went to the extreme to gather information about Xavier because she went crazy about doing a detective work. Travis was not justified in his reasons for not being able to find a job because he makes excuses and he didn't realize that he has to take care and protect his wife and his children. I agree with Beryl because Travis has to grow up and be a man.
