The Better Days Foundation was started in April of 2003, in an effort to provide support to the families who lost loved ones in the September 11th attacks. Out of this foundation, which includes an array of activities and ongoing support throughout the year, Camp Better Days was born. The camp takes place at The Sports and Arts Center at Island Lake in Starrucca, PA.
Last year, the children who attended the camp wrote letters to friends, their favorite characters, family members, and pretty much anyone else they wanted. We've gathered some of those letters, along with quotes, dreams, and goals of these extraordinary kids. We hope you enjoy them as much as we did, as they are a testament to the strength of the human spirit and the power of hope and perseverance.
