I just finished reflections from the shield and could not put it down to the great annoyance of my hubby. the life and job of a police officer/investigator/hostage negotiator is fascinating..each story was more interesting than the last. I laughed and also got teary eyed through the book. I only have one complaint however, Mr. Beyea should have put at least one photo of himself in the book, when you read about this man and become so interested in him you wonder what he looks like. two thumbs up for the book anyhow.
