About the author (2006)

Helene Hovanec, a former elementary school teacher with an M.S. in Early Childhood Education, has written nearly 40 children's puzzle and game books over the last 20 years. She's equally at home in the adult puzzle world where, since the 1970s, she has worked closely with Will Shortz on most of his projects.
