About the author (2009)

With over twenty-five years as a law enforcement officer, Jim Stephens’s experience in nearly all aspects of the field including patrol, investigations, and training provides a rich background for his writing. He has won numerous awards and is nationally recognized as a law enforcement instructor. Currently, he is a Lieutenant with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department in Nashville Tennessee. This novel, though a work of fiction, contains many elements drawn from his varied experiences. He has written numerous short stories in many different genres.
