About the author

Mila Shugurova, UNESCO artist member in 1995, poetess, philosopher, author, mother of three was born in 1958 in a wonderful forest village that  nests on the splendid river, Irsha. She currently lives in Toronto and travels often to the Northern Boreal forests of Canada where wildness keeps its treasures of Spirit.

Her art, poetry and non fiction books are revelations and embrace spiritual naturalism of our Essence. Her artworks were published in art albums in the US and worldwide. Among the art albums we find,  Pearls of Culture: art, poetry, thought (Dharana, 2012); Cultural landscapes of Toronto. The Art Album (Dharana, 2012). Her books were accepted by the worldwide Buddhist Dharma Communities, and you will find Emeralds: the koans of new time (2012) as a deeply thoughtful meditation on the nature of art, growth and word. Among her exhibits are Monasteries of Hope (Skiros, Greece 2008); Russian Cultural Renaissance (Toronto, North York, 2009-2013). For Mila, the whole Earth is a cosmic Mystery of the Creator, and we should be responsible to keep the sacred continuity of higher thought of spiritual consciousness and blessings.
