Cassie is a 35-year-old widow working in New Orleans. When a mysterious woman drops a diary in the restaurant where she works, Cassie can't resist reading the revealing and enticing sexual secrets it contains. It is through this diary, and the encounters that occur after, that Cassie is introduced to S.E.C.R.E.T., an underground society where sexually liberated anonymous women help other women realise their sexual fantasies. They're from all walks of life, but they have one thing in common: they once felt undesirable, and now they don't. Cassie becomes the next participant in S.E.C.R.E.T., where over the course of a year, she experiences nine sexual fantasies, then a choice, each step bringing her closer to her own sexual fulfullment and awakening.
