School Life in Paris
In an English boarding school where the curriculum is limited to the development of the girls' "personal charms," Blanche is introduced to the delights of the Lesbian Society. She soon becomes the most apt pupil, attracting the attention of the Countess, who vows to make Blanche "as lascivious as I am, [for] a girl who is very fast attracts men like honey draws flies."
