About the author (2003)

Sam Henderson was born in 1969 in Woodstock, New York, and as a result nobody believes him when he says his parents are not hippies. He now lives in Brooklyn, New York, where he draws cartoons for anyone who calls. His "Magic Whistle "strip appears in "New York Press, The Stranger, "and various other weeklies, and his comic book of the same name is available in better comic stores. His work has also appeared on "Nickelodeon," and in "DC Comics," "Zero Zero," "Measles,"" Top Shelf,"" "and tons of publications nobody's ever heard of. He hopes this book will make him a thousandaire.

Ivan Brunetti was born in Italy in 1967 and lives in Chicago, IL, where he teaches at Columbia College Chicago.
