Dr. Kudo Eresia-Eke is an inspirational writer and lyrical performance artiste. He has gained a rising reputation in Nigeria and beyond for his several-published works spanning short stories, inspirational essays, poetry, and music.He holds a PhD in Political Theory and is currently Manager, Public and Governments Affairs of Nigeria LNG Limited. Dr. Eresia-Eke, a Visiting Professor to the University Forte Hare, South Africa has been a Guest Lecturer at various higher institutions in Nigeria and overseas, including Allegheny College, Meadville, Pennyslvania, USA.For years he taught Political Science at the University of Port Harcourt, and was later Programs Director of the Centre for Advanced Social Sciences in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.Kudo has served in various key government positions including Commissioner (Secretary) of Information and Culture in his home state Rivers. He was also the State Director of the National Orientation Agency.In 1997 he was awarded the Distinguished Service Award for Outstanding Performance in Public Service by the Institute of Corporate Administration in Nigeria. His extensive media involvement has seen him serve variously as editor, newscaster, and producer, having worked in such leading outfits as The Guardian and Sunray Daily Newspapers, National and State Radio and Television networks around Nigeria.He is cited in The Nigeria Union of Journalist's book, Violations of Freedom, as one of the journalist who suffered for upholding professional principles, during the national crisis of 1993.Born in Burutu in today's Delta State of Nigeria he is a native of Akabta of the Ogba ethnic nationality in the north of Rivers State, Nigeria's southernmost State and the richest in oil and gas reserves.Strongly committed to youth education, Kudo, who also holds an Honours Degree from the University of Lagos in Mass Communication, is the founder and guardian of Starlets Academy, a model private Secondary (High) School.Kudo, a member of Eckankar, religion of the light and sound of God, is married to Joann, his school days sweetheart. They have four lovely children - two boys and two girls.
