Excellent and very informative book on Earthquake and reference have been made various codes and standards.New reader who wants to learn on earthquake risks or hazards and preventive measures to reduce the risks( though one can not completely prevent nature's fury) are explained in depth. This book is a valuable asset to the Structural Engineers, Architects, Designers,Owners and Educational Instituitions.
Government of Developing countries should use this book and take guidance to prevent socio/economical loss.
