About the author (2017)

William J. Aronson was born, raised, and educated in New England. Arriving in New York City in the fall of 1967, he resided on the west side of Manhattan. He spent the next twenty years working on Wall Street. Initially he landed a position as a bond salesman, then as a stock broker, portfolio manager, and eventually sole owner of a New York Stock Exchange firm which he started in the late 1970's. In the mid 1980's he sold the firm to a larger firm and left New York City, seeking a new life, filled with new challenges and adventures. He found just what he was looking for in Southeast Asia. His New York City and Wall Street experiences never would be forgotten, and to this day, he is proud to call himself a New Yorker. Presently he lives in a traditional Thai house located in the foothills surrounding the city of Chiang Mai Thailand with his Thai wife of nearly twenty-five years.
