In this book authors try to explain about relationship between small business management and entrepreneurship. The book started with the role and importance of small scale business in economic development of a country. Further it explain about role of owner as a manager of the business. And it also provide the important suggestion to the owners about managing the business. It
also provide information about how market place must be selected and innovative approaches towards to market place and products.
In the second part the book contain information about creating the small business. It includes how the business plan has to be created and what are the requirements for creating good business plan and strategies for successful small business. Importantly it gave information about starting up the small business through franchising
in third stage it provide information about how to manage the human resources ,short term and long term finances and market . It contain step by step information from starting of business to winding up of business.

About the author (2010)

Dr Nick Wilson is Reader in Creativity, Arts & Cultural Management at the Department of Culture, Media and Creative Industries, King's College London, where he founded the MA in Arts & Cultural Management. He was previously Principal Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Small Business at Kingston University, and Course Director of the Programme of Master's courses in the Creative Industries & the Creative Economy.
