Canadian writer, Robert Munsch was born on June 11, 1945 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania into a family of nine children. While working at a daycare center and telling stories to children, he realized that storytelling was what he loved to do and eventually he started writing the stories down. His first published title was "Mud Puddle." Other titles to follow include "Goodnight Moon," "Love You Forever," "Angela's Airplane," "Andrew's Loose Tooth," and "Stephanie's Ponytail." He continues to visit schools, libraries and daycares telling stories for free.
