About the author (2009)

I have been in hairdressing for 30-odd years and have enjoyed every minute of it. There comes a time, however, when, as a stylist, some things need to be brought to the attention of the clients, and this latest piece endeavours to do just that!

Writing has been a hobby of mine which has gathered speed over the last few years and seems to have taken over every non-working waking hour! Ontop of my already busy life, I set myself almost impossible goals - and don't give up until they are reached. As well as the piece on hairdressing foibles, I am halfway through a novel which begins in the eighties and tracks a life through to present time. Again, this is written in a somewhat humourous vein, but also addressess some of lifes more serious issues.
