About the author (2008)

Robert J. Tata, AB, MA, PhD (Geography) Syracuse University; MA (Economics), Florida Atlantic University, is Professor Emeritus in Geography and Geology at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida.  During his 30-year career at the university, he has taught and written more than 100 aricles, papers, and books on Economic Georraphy, Caribbean, South America, World Regional Geography, and Wine Appreciation.  He taught "The World of Wines" for more than 20 years; the latter was his most popular course!!
