Teachers need constant fuel to help stay motivated and engaged in their teaching. With so many teachers leaving the profession within the first five yearsburned out, frustrated, and having lost their inspiration and sense of purposethis wonderful volume of personal stories gives educators courage to stay the course. Written by practicing educators, this collection of heartfelt stories can inspire and refresh, and remind teachers how they are making a difference. The stories herewritten by teachersremind us that no teacher is alone in the hard work, frustration, or joy of teaching (Nel Noddings in books Foreword).

I was not surprised to see Michelle Bauml's story featured on this website. Michelle is a person anyone would be proud to know. From being a talented educator, she now has set her sights on improving education and will do wonderful things. Great book from inspiring people.
