About the author (1989)

Mark Thurston, Ph.D., is an educator, author, and Executive Director for the Association for Research and Enlightenment, founded in Virginia Beach, Virginia by Edgar Cayce in 1931. Thurston's fifteen publications include "Millennium Prophecies, Understand and Develop Your ESP, The Inner Power of Silence, The Edgar Cayce Handbook for Creating Your Future, Experiments in Practical Spirituality, "and "Paradox of Power. "He is also the author of "Dreams: Tonight's Answers for Tomorrow's Questions, "another book in this series about the work of Edgar Cayce. His academic training in psychology provides the skills for translating concepts from the Cayce readings into modern daily life.
Thurston has worked with hundreds of individuals to help them find their purposes in life. He has presented workshops on this subject in virtually every major city in America, as well as in various locations in Canada and Europe.
