About the author (1987)

McDonough has degrees in physics (MIT) and astrophysics (Cornell). He is the Coordinator of the Planetary Society's SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) program. He is also a consultant to the Skeptics Society and to the Committee for the Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal.
