About the author (2005)

Jim Kielbaso is the Director of the Total Performance Training Center in Wixom, Michigan, and is recognized as one of the premier athletic development experts in the country. He holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from Michigan State University and a M.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Michigan. Jim is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a certified personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He served as the strength and conditioning coach at the University of Detroit Mercy from 1996-2002.
