Max Bygraves has taken part in 19 Royal Command Performances, performed in 14 London seasons, and his bestselling recordings have earned him 31 gold discs. He has performed around the world, performing on the QE2 and other luxury liners as well as venues from New York to the Bahamas and Sydney, as well as Cape Town, where he was the first white artiste to play to mixed race audiences.
