Stephen Tatom and his descendents
Stephen Tatom was born 1721 in the Crown Colony of Virginia and was raised on his father's plantation on the James River, Virginia. In 1746 he married a girl name Mourning in King William County, Virginia. In 1760 he and his family moved to Spotsylvania County, Virginia and in 1771 they moved to Orange County, North Carolina. Stephen and Mourning had 10 children. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas and elsewhere.
