About the author (2005)

Barbara Sue Bevins was born in 1954 in the Appalachian Mountains of Southwest Virginia. She is the daughter of a retired coalminer and one of ten children. She enjoys painting, writing, and spending time with her family and friends. She resides in Coeburn, Virginia with her husband Jim and daughter Michele.
