About the author (2025)

Dan Allen is an author and speaker on various topics of the Catholic faith, including evangelization, vocational discernment, and accompaniment through suffering. Having experience in campus ministry, retreats, and catechetical efforts, he currently serves as the Associate Director of Spirituality and Service for the University of Notre Dame Alumni Association. In this role, he oversees FaithND, a digital evangelization effort for Notre Dame alumni, parents, and friends. He has been featured on several of FaithND's media campaigns, including a pilgrimage to the Holy Land video series, various seasonal projects for Advent and Lent, and as the host of the Everyday Holiness podcast. His writing and work have also been presented on foryourmarriage.org, grottonetwork.com, and EWTN. He is the coauthor of Ghost Stories from the Samaritan House, author of Stations of the Cross for Marriages and Families, and a contributing writer to the Notre Dame Book of Prayer: Updated Edition.
