Take Note! is a complete information management tool for anyone working on writing projects requiring the use of outside sources. This cross-platform CD-ROM integrates notetaking, outlining, and bibliographic reference management into one easy-to-use package. Featuring a user-friendly and logically arranged modern computer interface, the software allows users to sort, organize, and file their notecards on the computer for easy retrieval and manipulation. A special feature allows users to select material from Internet sources and integrate it with notes taken from more traditional sources.

Users can organize hundreds of notecards neatly and effortlessly in an electronic form. A special "outline view" enables them to develop drafts through organizing their notecards. They can use the keyword search capability to view the particular notecards that have information on a specific topic at once. Notecard material is easily exportable to word processors. Seamless integration with the World Wide Web allows important information to be cut-and-pasted from a Web browser and Web pages can be hotlinked on a sources list.
