Imagine a time tainted with the likes of animosity and maliciousness. A time where the faces of the innocent lay marred in a day of neglect, dejection, and a pain so great that the intensity of which can never be fathomed. Imagine a voice,  a heart, and a mind faced with the pangs of hell at every moment. Imagine this place and you have seen slavery. Kombee Swazu was a young teenager living in Western Africa, when her life was snapped apart instantly. She was taken, taken as a slave over blue waters and forced to endure a life of misery, pulsating with indignation and the vile and passionate hatred of man. Kombee was sold to an evil drunkard and faced with abuse, neglect, and inhumane treatment which, threatened her sanity and scarred her with self hatred, depression, and desolation. But in this night of surrender, she finds in herself, a powerful gift. In a time filled with wrath she recieves a gift and learns to use this powerful gift. This is not a story, it is a burning legacy that questions the deepest roots within our existance. It is a living prophecy that questions humanity and the faults within it. But this is not a story of sadness; it a story of the renewing hope offered when one stands for right and advances confidently. It is told in the candid honest words of one person, who rises up in a time of adversity and shows the world that anything is possible. Kombee's fortitude and compassion weaves a path that trancends time and offers harmony in a night of cruelty. Her legacy is the powerful hope and contiuous love that dwells in her heart and touches the souls of those who hear her story. It's power will move you continuously.
