Tales from the King's African Rifles
This is John Nunneley's account of how as a 19-year-old officer in World War II he arrived in Kenya to join the King's Africa Rifles, a famous colonical regiment, to lead his askaris first in Africa and them in Burma's Kabaw Valley, the Valley of Death, fighting the elite White Tigers of the Imperial Japanese Army.
