About the author (2006)

Eileen Spinelli is the winner of the Christopher Award and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators Merit Award. The mother of six and grandmother of thirteen, she lives in West Chester, Pennyslvania, with her husband.

Karen Dugan is the illustrator of several books for children, including Mr. Tuggle's Troubles. She lives in North Attleboro, Massachusetts.
