This 32-question, self-administered, self-scored instrument measures six categories of team performance goals and results, collaboration and involvement, competencies, communication, processes, emotional climate, and leadership. The instrument provides a self-rating by team members and summary scores that reflect the team's assessment of its own performance. The TPQ can be used by any team that wants to know more about its own effectiveness.

The Facilitator's Guide, packaged with the Participant's Workbook and the Instrument, is a roadmap for facilitators, trainers, and managers that guides them in interpreting and using the results following the completion of the TPQ by the team.

The Team Development Workbook guides team members through an analysis and interpretation of TPQ results and provides strategies for improvement.
