About the author (1999)

Alanna Jones has a degree in Recreational Threapy from Western Washington University. She has worked as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist in psychiatric hospitals with children, adolescents and adults, and has spent time working with youth-at-risk, a a church youth group leader, camp counsellor and coach. She has travelled around the U.S. leading the popular Therapeutic Activities and Games workshops for teachers, counsellors and therapists.
