About the author (2011)

Mary Melean is a Venezuelan-Colombian Handicraft, mother of two girls, a lover of sculptures, mosaics, pottery and art in general. She lives and works in Miami, making decorations for children, puppet shows in schools with historical themes like the life of Abraham Lincoln, Pancho Villa y Don Quixote.

Alexia Lacaris is an economist and accountant with Venezuelan and Spanish background who has always been fond to design, especially children’s books; she loves photography and enjoys art in general. She lives in Miami with her husband and her two daughters. One of her activities is to work in Puppet shows to promote the spanish speaking environment.

Giving life to significant historical figures of the universal literature. Don Quixote de la Mancha takes life through hand-made puppets and costumes to make it more attractive to give a memorable summary of the most important work of Spanish literature.
