A thorough review of the primary manuscript evidence regarding the abrupt ending of Mark and the Shorter Ending of Mark that was available in 1914. Williams was limited by a need to rely on earlier research done by others but he does a good job of presenting and arranging the evidence, and corrects quite a few inaccurate claims made by researchers in the 1800's. This book also includes replica-pages or replications (in normal text) of several manuscript-pages, including Codex L and 274.
