About the author (2008)

Michael Gosney is an accomplished media and event producer based in San Francisco. Since 1995 he has served on the board of architect Paolo Soleri's model eco-city project, Arcosanti in Az., and held the Paradox Conferences in 1997,1999,and 2001. He co-founded the Green Century Institute in San Francisco in 2002, which promotes the development of sustainable communities and " green-tech" innovations. Gosney lived in the San Diego area for over 20 years, with Del Mar as his favorite community. He has known and been inspired by Herbert Turner for several years.
