About the author (2012)

BARBARA COOK was born in the East End of London. She moved with her parents to Cornwall at the age of 10. She has lived in Cornwall for the majority of her adult life. She has always had a fascination with all things Cornish and has for many years been writing, but never previously did anything about publishing. Her interests are varied thus the Murder Mystery series based on a Woman Detective Chief Inspector - Bev Smith, her childrens series, Teresa Turkey series and her Cornish Potted Series. A mother of five and a grandmother of eight she struggles to find time to write but somehow she says she manages this at least a few hours a day five days a week.
