We, the descendants of the Cocker family of England are ever so grateful for Dr. Mark Dalby's brilliant work on The Cocker Connection. This is one of the most important books Dr. Mark Dalby ever wrote during his lifetime about our ancestors in England and how some of them colonized Australia, Canada and the Kingdom of Tonga in the mid-1800's including Benjamin Franklin Cocker who left Yorkshire, England and became a Professor at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor Michigan in the 1800's. I am very saddened by Dr. Mark Dalby's passing. This review was written on May 4th 2013, and I agree, Dr. Mark Dalby died in February of 2013 NOT December 2013.

Hello, I have a signed copy of this book given to me by Ven Dr Mark Dalby personally. Your date of his death is incorrect. It was 11th February 2013 (my birthday). I know this is correct as myself and another lady found him deceased in his home. If you need any more information email me on julie.allsopp@hotmail.com
