The Drummer Boy
Thirteen-year-old Caleb is working alongside his father on the family fishing boat off the Maine coast when the news arrives that his older brother, a Union soldier, has been branded a coward and deserter. To find out the truth, Caleb runs off and enlists in the Army as a drummer boy--and witnesses the Battle of Gettysburg.
