The Effect of Temperature on Oviposition in Pimelia Angulata (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae)

Front Cover
This study tested 12 replicates, 8 of which were artificially heated, each containing 20 wild-collected examples of tenebrionid beetles that had been sorted by size for effect of temperature on total oviposition and daily oviposition rate. Results indicated that temperature is positively correlated with oviposition rate, with 33.9 to 39.9 degrees centigrade the optimum range.
