The Hendersons of Caskieben: Four Medical Practitioners
John Henderson (1743-1814) was born in Scotland and went as a young man to Jamaica where he practiced medicine and owned a large plantation. He was the father of three sons, Alexander Farquharson Henderson (1780-1863), Charles Irvine Henderson (1790-1832) and William Henderson (1792-1877). All three sons were also physicians. Descendants live in Scotland.
