This is a wonderful resource. It has a wealth of information regarding the history of Barbour County and the state of West Virginia as a whole. The fact that is dated prior to 1900 is great because as time goes on it usually seems that we only remember the most important basic facts; this book includes more than just the basic facts that are generally found elsewhere.
If you are interested in Barbour County or it's history I definitely recommend this book!
