About the author (1987)

New Orleans author, designer, and magazine editor, Bev Church is as comfortable creating a gala evening for a major corporation as she is appearing on national and local television programs as an expert on entertaining. As the author of three bestsellers, The Joys of Entertaining which was just re-released in paperback, Weddings Southern Style, and Entertaining Celebrations, Mrs. Church travels throughout the United States lecturing on all facets of entertaining and appearing before television audiences in each city. Mrs. Church estimates she has educated and delighted television audiences on hundreds of television programs in cities all over the United States including Good Morning America and Home & Garden Television (HGTV). Mrs. Church is also a consultant on entertaining to several corporations and designs flowers, tablescapes and special parties for clients. She writes a monthly entertaining column for the magazine St.Charles Avenue in which she is also the Executive Editor.
