About the author (2011)

The Mediterranean Diet is bestselling author John Chatham’s favorite book to have “worked” on. It required immersing himself in research by traveling across the coast of Italy to the islands of Greece, all the while dining on the Mediterranean’s delicious cuisine. As his latest creation reveals, the secret to the region’s health and vitality is sought by embracing the Mediterranean diet. After earning a MFA degree in English, Chatham began his career as a writer competing in short story competitions and submitting material to various literary publications. During a stint in Asia, he began writing for economic publications and travel guides. Ultimately, his time living abroad inspired him to combine his two passions: writing and food. The best selling author of The Paleo Diet Solution and The Paleo Diet Solution Cookbook, Chatham is a firm believer that a healthy diet doesn’t mean compromising your appetite. His goal is to offer nutritious meals — from traditional American recipes to international flavors — that never leave you hungry. When he’s not roaming the globe satisfying his palate with international cuisine Chatham resides in the Bay Area.
