For the first time since the birth of civilization, Planet Earth receives a message from an extraterrestrial intelligence. The message is sent from Planet Omni located in a solar system ten light years from Earth. Omni happens to be an identical twin to planet Earth in every respect, including its inhabitants The message sent in the year 2024 is a warning that the nuclear nations on Earth must obey or they will cause Earth and its 7 billion inhabitants to become just another of the ubiquitous black holes in this incredible universe. The new American President in his first term in office is confronted by this most historic event.  He is faced with having to deal with this life or death situation with this unknown and unseen force. Supporting him is his mistress, a most  audacious, ambitious  former beauty Queen and a current TV news anchor person.


Although the story is fictional, it draws upon today’s headlines and current events to give impetus to the story which is more truth than fiction.

About the author (2007)

Albert Vego was born and brought up in the Bronx, New York during the Great Depression years in the United States. After a stint in the Army  in World War 2, he moved to Los Angeles where he married and had three children. When the children moved to Seattle, he and his wife, Diana soon followed. “They had chutzpah to move away and take our grand children with them, so, naturally, we had to follow.”

Albert , now a widower, has 5 grandchildren and 3 great grand kids. “My family and their future survival were the inspiration for THE MESSAGE.
