Tim gets bullied and picked on the very first day he attends his new school. A few of his new classmates immediately decide they don’t like him because of the way he dresses. They think it’s funny to laugh and pick on him. He wishes he had never come to the new school and is embarrassed by the way he is treated by the other students.

This book is very good to help younger kids understand bullying. It also gives insight on how bullying affects others. I recommend it for children six and over, preferably to be read with an adult. It would make a great classroom activity to teach children about empathy towards others and standing up for those weaker than themselves.
