About the author (2007)

David Miles is Professor of Finance at Imperial College, University of London. He is also an economic consultant to Merrill Lynch. He specializes in research on financial markets. Miles worked for the Bank of England for several years after graduating from Oxford. After a spell in the economics department at Birkbeck College, he was Chief UK Economist for Merrill Lynch. He joined Imperial College in 1996. He has published widely on many aspects of finance and macroeconomics.

Keith Neely has been an illustrator most of his life.nbsp; He studied art at Brevard, Chicago Art Institute, and Art Center College of Design.nbsp; Accepting Christ as a young Air Force guard in California in 1968, he decided to dedicate his life to the Lord.nbsp; Keith's illustration career has included working for many organizations such as Disney, Campus Crusade for Christ, Campus Life, Children's Digest, Augsburg, Child Evangelism Fellowship, Gospel Light, Logos, McGraw Hill, Moody, Standard, Southern Baptist Convention, Methodist Publishing, Thomas Nelson, Warner, Zondervan, and many more. He and his wife, Roberta, havenbsp;five children andnbsp;nine grandchildren.
