Only the first few pages told me that this was a must have text book for a social work student...It is straight forward and easy to read. I am studying social work and looking for a book of reference that will give me good explanations for many aspects of social work. This is it..it explains in full assessment and much more than using academic text it lets the reader know the reasons behind assessment and what social work is about and the broad spectrum of social work.
Books by Charles Zastrow have always been ease to understand and helpful.
