Very thoughfully written, however, the descriptions provided for the WPPSI-R would be more helpful if the subtests were current to reflect the WPPSI-III version. I found it frustrating to not have the most current review of subtests from the most current scale.

About the author (2004)

Bruce Bracken obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Charleston and Master's and Doctoral degrees from the University of Georgia. He is currently a Professor at The College of William and Mary. During his career, Bruce has published more than 200 articles, books, psychological tests, and related professional materials. Bruce has held elected offices and chaired committees for the American Psychological Association, the International Test Commission, and the National Association of School Psychologists. He is a Fellow of the APA in two divisions, and a Charter Fellow of the American Educational Research Association. Dr. Bracken is also a Diplomate and Fellow in the American Board of Assessment Psychology, and he recently served on a panel for the National Research Council of the National Academies of Science. Bruce received a "Senior Scientist" award from the American Psychological Association in 2009 and the 2012 "Lifetime Achievement Award" from his alma mater, the University of Georgia. In addition to his scholarly contributions, Dr. Bracken has embarked on writing fiction.
