About the author (2015)

 Lt. Col. (retired) Ronald B. Hall is a Kentucky native now living in Warner Robins, Georgia, with his wife, Donna. He has one son, Ryan. He graduated in the top 15 percent of Kentucky seniors, is a member of the Bardstown, Kentucky High School Athletic Hall of Fame, and played fullback for Louisville University where he obtained an undergraduate degree in Physical Education. His Master’s in Management is from Webster College, St. Louis. His US Air Force decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal with three devices, Commendation Medal with three devices, Vietnam Service Medal, Philippine Presidential Unit Citation, and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. From 1970 to 1972, he managed all Recreation and Officers and Enlisted Clubs in the Philippines, Taiwan, and Thailand and the same for Korea in 1974. He served as Director of Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) at Williams AFB, Arizona and Edwards AFB, California. He was worldwide Inspector General for MWR with Military Airlift Command from 1975 to 1977 and nationwide for Air Force Reserve from 1978 to 1979. He managed the Civilian Restaurants at Robins AFB, Georgia from August 1979 to July1987, a 4.5-million-dollar food operation that serviced a twenty-thousand-plus workforce; he received two Sustained Superior Performance Awards and top manager awards each of those years. As director of advertising, Air Force Reserve Recruiting, he managed the resources for 119 recruiting locations nationwide. He conducted Air Force Reserve live television promotions with Turner Broadcasting and NASCAR and college and professional events across the country. He coached middle school sports from 1996 to 2000 and created and managed the Intramural Program for Middle Georgia College in Cochran, Georgia from 2000 to 2011.
