About the author (2005)

Deanne Fitzpatrick teaches, designs, and inspires rug hookers from her shop and studio in Amherst, Nova Scotia. She has a devoted following for her online workshops and blog, hookingrugs.com, and she runs annual rug hooking retreats and schools. She writes for "Rug Hooking" magazine and serves on their editorial board. She is author of "Secrets of Planning and Designing Hand-Hooked Rugs", "Hook Me a Story", and "Simply Modern". Her works appear in galleries and collections the world over.
