About the author (2003)

Laureano Ruiz is the "guru" of Spanish soccer. He is the head of the Soccer School in Santander and is a former coach at Barcelona FC. He has molded some of the world's finest talent, including Ivan de la Pena, Hristo Stoichkov, Ivan Helguera and the great Johann Cruyff. He is the author of Soccer: Secrets to Success -- What Great Players and Coaches Need to Know.
